Remote Event Schedule

Your Sleep Out schedule (subject to change) on Friday, September, 24th will vary depending on your participation. The remote participant track is below. 7:30pm ET 

 Team Rally (Optional)

Connect with your team before Sleep Out officially kicks off!

8:00pm ET Remote Virtual Program

Kick off the 2021 Sleep Out with us from your computer! You'll hear from Covenant House staff members as well as the moving story of a former resident from Casa Alianza Nicaragua.

8:25pm ET Remote Breakout Rooms

Join experts from Covenant House, former residents, and your fellow participants for in depth discussions. Choose from the following topics:

  • Hope & Healing at Casa Alianza Nicaragua
  • An Honest Conversation About Homelessness
  • Mental Healthcare & Wellness

We recommend having your microphone and camera turned on to participate fully in these conversations.

9:20pm ET Remote Program

We'll celebrate the fundraising accomplishments of the (Re)insurance Sleep Out community with some notable Sleepers. You'll then hear the story of former resident and current Covenant House board member Dr. April Hunziker. 

9:40pm Remote Reflections

Take some time before you settle in for the night to reflect on your Sleep Out experience and talk about what you learned during the program and breakout rooms with your fellow Sleepers. 

10:15pm  Overnight Activities

Get ready to Sleep Out! Set up your sleeping bag or blanket on your kitchen floor, in your backyard, or any other safe and legal location, and if you're not ready to go right to sleep there are plenty of self-guided activities, reading materials, and videos in the Overnight Toolkit.

8:00am Remote Morning Reflections

Covenant House staff will lead Sleepers in the morning reflections. Join to reflect and connect about your Sleep Out experience.
