Safe shelter and loving care for youth facing homelessness.
Covenant House empowers young people to overcome homelessness and trafficking by providing them with safe housing, food and clothing, and relentless support.
In 34 cities and counting across the United States, Latin America, and Canada, young people are finding hope, strengthening their resilience, and making progress towards their goals with the help of Covenant House’s continuum of care, which includes job training, education opportunities, legal aid, health care, and mental health counseling as well as birthday parties, movie nights, and community meetings.
Through it all, Covenant House is guided by the principles of offering every young person unconditional love and absolute respect.
How does Sleep Out help youth facing homelessness?
Sleep Out participants raise critical funds that keep Covenant House's doors open for the thousands of young people who will come to us seeking shelter each year. The money raised through Sleep Out is put right to work, funding vital services like medical care, legal assistance, education opportunities, vocational training and therapeutic services. And the awareness raised through Sleep Out shines a much needed light on the youth homelessness crisis.
