Lakers are coming together to give up our beds for one night.

Details for Medford Lakes Sleep Out below!

The Sleep Out helps ensure that youth facing homelessness can sleep safely and dream big at Covenant House.

Covenant House is more than just a shelter. Young people are welcomed with unconditional love and provided warm meals, education opportunities, job training, medical care, mental health and substance use counseling, and legal aid — essential services designed to help them build independent futures.

You can be part of the solution for youth overcoming homelessness by making a donation to our Sleep Out team or by joining our team.

Click the "Support Us" button to give.

If you'd like to join our team - CLICK THE "JOIN OUR TEAM" BUTTON.

Join us at Brooks Field on Saturday, April 27th at 6:00 PM. After an evening together including information about youth facing homelessness, recognition of fundraising efforts, and service projects, we will then be sleeping OUTSIDE on the tennis courts with no shelter. You are welcome to bring a sleeping bag, yoga mat, cardboard, or trash bag. We will have a handful of homemade sleeping mats available for use.

Please consider bringing the following items that we will be collecting for a local shelter: socks, unopened toothbrush + toothpaste, individual packaged snacks (PB crackers, applesauce, granola bar, etc), mints, chapstick, single-dose/use first-aid kit items.

Important Notes for Sleep Out Participants:

  • Event is open to colony members and guests of colony members.
  • All participants under 18 will need to be registered with an adult.
  • All fundraising should be completed on your own time, prior to the Sleep Out.
  • Participants will be capped at 75.
  • There is an $11 fee to join as a participant. When signing up, you will be prompted to join a "3/30 Virtual Sleep Out." Only 1 participant per family needs to pay the registration fee. This is a placeholder event used by Covenant House and this IS the correct event to sign up for.
  • After joining our team, please email Melissa Smith [email protected] or text 267-264-8206 with the name and ages of all participants in your family.
  • Families with younger children, please be mindful of the nature of the sleep out and if you think it would be appropriate for your child(ren).
