GIVE UP YOUR BED FOR ONE NIGHT.

SO YOUTH FACING HOMELESSNESS DON’T HAVE TO.

Too many young people in New Orleans have no safe, stable place to lay their heads at night. They are experiencing neglect, abuse, exploitation, rejection and more, but there is hope. Covenant House New Orleans is a safe haven for youth and young families, offering safe shelter and wrap-around services, including wellness, education and job training, so they can move forward to an adulthood free from threat of homelessness.

Special thanks to our 2023-2024 Student Sleep Out sponsor, Raising Cane's!

2024 Participating Schools

Their Student Sleep Outs, led by Student Ambassadors and facilitated by supportive faculty and staff, will help them raise awareness about the causes and effects of youth homelessness and raise funds by engaging their classmates and planning the program, with guidance from our staff. Together, they will spend one night sleeping outside in solidarity with unhoused youth and taking action to ensure they have a safe environment in which to heal and thrive.

Last year, Covenant House cared for nearly 700 youth & children overcoming homelessness in New Orleans. By sleeping out, you will show them they are not alone.

With your help, we will continue to keep our doors open 24/7. We will never close our doors to a young person in need. Thank you for believing in them!
