Sleep Out Schedule

The online Sleep Out program will begin at 8pm EST and is outlined below. Follow along with us all night — registered participants will receive email reminders — or pick and choose activities to join on your own timeline. All content will be made available here, so continue checking back for new updates.

12:00pm EST | 24-Hour Fundraising Match Starts!

  • Every dollar raised during the Sleep Out (12pm-12am) will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, by a Covenant House board member.
  • PLUS: receive 5 or more donations on your page during this time, and we’ll send you a special video thank you message from youth at Covenant House.

8:30pm EST | Post-It Activity

9:00pm EST | Frankie’s Story

  • Watch Frankie, a recent Covenant House resident, share his story in his own words.
  • Action step: find more youth stories in the Video Library and Reading Room below. Text a friend or family member the link to the story that will stick with you tonight.  

10:00pm EST | Fundraising Celebration

  • Help us recognize this year’s top fundraiser, top fundraising team, K Club Members, returning participants, and other Sleep Out participants who have gone above and beyond for our youth!
  • Watch for an email and follow @covenanthouseny to join the celebration.

11:00pm EST | Sleep Out

  • Watch a goodnight message from our event coordinator, Annie Ladd.
  • Action step: post a goodnight message to your friends and family on social media. Find shareable content in the Social Media section below.
