An international movement to end youth homelessness.
Sleep Outs are hosted at Covenant House sites across the U.S. and Canada. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Sleep Out has gone virtual and gives anyone, anywhere, the chance to help youth overcome homelessness.
Who: Anyone! This Sleep Out is open to young professionals, families with children, and everyone in between. During the live program, you can choose to join the breakout room(s) that sound most interesting to you.
Where: Anywhere! Your backyard, your front porch, your kitchen floor. We are asking you to give up your bed for an uncomfortable night of sleep, whatever that means to you.
What: You'll tune in to a live virtual program to see first hand your impact in action. Covenant House staff, former residents, and special guests from around the world will speak, and you'll have a chance to join interactive breakout rooms for meaningful conversations. Program details coming soon!

Covenant House is an international organization providing shelter and care to young people in 31 cities. If you are not connected to a local House, your Sleep Out will support young people across our federation.
Want to start your own Sleep Out? (Yes, that’s an option!)
You can Sleep Out from anywhere — a backyard, porch, terrace, garage, kitchen floor, or car, so long as it's safe and legal — and raise urgently-needed funds for Covenant House, spread awareness about the youth homelessness crisis, and send a powerful message of solidarity.
