On behalf of Northside Church congregants, I have accepted Covenant House Georgia’s challenge to spend a night sleeping on the street so youth experiencing homelessness don’t have to.
We would love for you to help support me and Northside Church in this fundraiser.
The Sleep Out is not about pretending to be homeless. It’s an act of solidarity with the 4.2 million young people who experience homelessness each year. This includes over 3,300 young people in Atlanta on any given night. It’s a decision that we can’t stay indoors while so many youth remain outside.
One night can make a difference.
As part of my Sleep Out, I am raising funds and awareness for Covenant House Georgia, a shelter for youth experiencing homelessness and escaping trafficking in Atlanta. Covenant House Georgia offers these young people so much more than a safe place to sleep - they welcome each youth with absolute respect and unconditional love, and their continuum of care provides essential services to help them transition from homelessness to independence.
Help me help youth in crisis. Make a donation in support of my Sleep Out by clicking the “Support Me” button above.
I can’t do this without you. Thanks for your support!
