I'm Sleeping Out

I have accepted Covenant House’s challenge to spend a night sleeping on the street so homeless kids don’t have to.

The Sleep Out is not about pretending to be homeless. It’s an act of solidarity with the 4.2 million young people who experience homelessness each year. I am sleeping out and going the distance. I will be running the NYC Marathon (virtually) to raise funds and awareness for youth at Covenant House NJ. Being homeless is a marathon- not a sprint. The youth at Covenant House are smart, talented and resilient. They are youth who have experienced a difficult start, aged out of foster care, victims of human trafficking- despite so many obstacles they keep going, and so will I.

One night can make a difference.

Covenant House offers these young people so much more than a safe place to sleep - they welcome each kid with absolute respect and unconditional love, and their continuum of care provides essential services to help kids transition from homelessness to independence.

I am asking for $26 (or more!!) $1 for each mile of the marathon distance. OR- JOIN MY TEAM and Go the Distance with me.

I can’t do this without you. Thank you for your support!
