Why I'm Sleeping Out

The Sleep Out is a profoundly inspiring event I am honored to be a part of each year. I am proud to be returning for my seventh (!) Sleep Out with Covenant House, a vital organization that provides shelter, food, clothing, education, and most importantly, unconditional love to homeless youth. Their superhuman staff work tirelessly to amplify the voices of homeless young people and empower them to move beyond their circumstances toward a brighter future. I am sleeping out because every young person deserves the opportunity to realize their potential.

The Young Are At The Gates.

I know that the world feels like a scary place right now and it can be hard to focus our time, energy and privilege to make an impact. But no matter what makes the news headlines today, the national crisis of youth homelessness endures. These young people prove that the next generation is powerful, resilient, and ready to lead us into the future. Now more than ever we have to invest in these young men and women. It's a privilege to do good for them.
