One Purpose, One Night
sleep out date: november 18, 2021 | 7:30 pm - 6:00 am
Sleep on the street for one night - so youth overcoming homelessness don't have to.
More than 900 young people in crisis come to Covenant House New Orleans each year. For youth facing homelessness and trafficking, walking through our doors is the first step in building bright new futures - and healing from years of abuse, violence, and trauma. Covenant House is their safe haven, offering safe shelter, nourishing food, clean clothing, and essential services like job training, education, healthcare, mental health counseling, legal aid, and more. By Sleeping Out, you can support them on their journeys to independence and self-sufficiency.
Covenant House is open 24/7, 365 days a year. With your help, we will never close our doors to a young person in need. Thank you for believing in them - and in the promise of their futures.
TWO WAYS TO SLEEP OUT IN SOLIDARITY WITH YOUTH FACING HOMELESSNESS
Register now to join 200 business and community leaders for an in-person immersive and interactive experience you will never forget. After engaging with our brave youth and alumni, our sleepers spend one night on the sidewalk with nothing but a sleeping bag and a cardboard box - raising funds and awareness, and showing our young people they are not alone.
If you're not able to join us in-person, you may also register to participate virtually, from anywhere and with anyone (a great option for families)! Our remote sleepers will join us via a live, online stream, giving up their beds at the end of the night to Sleep Out in backyards, garages, porches, terraces, and floors across New Orleans.
