According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress, on a single night, New York City had the highest number of unaccompanied youth experiencing homelessness of any city in the United States, with 2,094 individuals under the age of 25 - accounting for 7% of the total U.S. unhoused youth population.
Covenant House provides 24/7 housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness and trafficking in 34 cities across the United States, Latin America, and Canada.
