About Covenant House
Covenant House provides housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness and trafficking in 34 cities across the United States, Latin America, and Canada. We help young people strengthen their resilience through relentless support, unconditional love, and absolute respect. Youth find more than just a safe place to sleep at Covenant House: here, they can access job training, education programs, mental and physical health care, and legal aid to help them build a stable future.
Covenant House Florida
Since its inception, Covenant House Florida has served young people facing homelessness in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, including pregnant and parenting youth and their babies. Each year, we reach hundreds of youth in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando via street outreach, crisis shelters, transitional housing projects, and aftercare, making Covenant House Florida one of the largest private agencies serving runaway and homeless youth in the state of Florida. Covenant House New York
As the largest provider of runaway and homeless youth services in New York City, Covenant House New York (CHNY) serves more than 1,600 young adult ages 16-24 each year. Our 24/7 crisis center in Manhattan is home to nearly 200 young people each night, as well as the wrap-around services they need like education, job training, physical and mental health care, and legal aid. Outside Manhattan, CHNY operates several transitional living programs for young people on the road to independence, including several programs for mothers and families with children.
