We expect Sleepers to approach the Sleep Out with an open heart, an open mind, and a willingness to work hard for something outside of your comfort zone. 

We ask all Sleepers to make a good faith effort in hitting the $1,000 fundraising goal. With that being said, Sleepers must raise a minimum of $250 in order to attend the in-person event. Top Sleepers & Fundraising Teams to be awarded the night of!

The Sleep Out is a unique experience that raises funds and encourages awareness, empathy, as well as an understanding of the immeasurable odds that young people experiencing homelessness overcome.

100% of the money raised will be directly allocated to our services and help Covenant House California continue to provide 24/7 care.  And, the awareness and funds your raise helps us provide a better future for youth overcoming homelessness, urging us closer to a world where everyone has a safe place to sleep.

We know you can do it - getting started is as easy as sending an email - and our team is available every step of the way to provide the tips, coaching, materials, and whatever else you need to reach your goal.

Safety is our top priority, both for the young people we serve and supporters at our events.  All Sleepers will be required to show proof of vaccination, social distance 6 feet apart, and wear a mask when in close contact with other participants. We take every necessary precaution to keep Sleepers safe. There will be locked gates at our sleeping location and security throughout the night.
