Covenant House is committed to providing a place of shelter and support for young people facing homelessness and trafficking. We serve kids in more than 30 cities across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
When a young person comes to our shelter, we address their urgent needs first – warm meals, showers, safe beds. But we don't stop at offering an immediate safe harbor. We strive to move each young person forward down a path to independent adulthood, free from the risk of homelessness.
In New York City, nearly 300 young people sleep in a Covenant House bed each night, at our Crisis Shelter or transitional living program on 41st Street (where the Sleep Out is held), our Mother & Child program, and our safe house for victims of trafficking.
