About Covenant House

Covenant House provides shelter, safety, and support to young people facing homelessness. We serve kids in more than 30 cities across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

When a young person comes through our doors, we address their immediate needs first – warm meals, showers, safe beds. But we don't stop at offering an immediate safe harbor. We strive to move each young person forward down a path towards independent adulthood, free from the risk of homelessness.

In New York and New Jersey, more than 330 young people sleep in a Covenant House bed each night, at our Crisis Shelters, transitional living programs, Mother & Child programs, subsidized apartments, and our safe house for victims of human trafficking.
