Covenant House New Orleans

About Covenant House in New Orleans

Covenant House provides housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness and trafficking in 34 cities across the United States, Latin America, and Canada, including right here in the Gulf South. We help young people strengthen their resilience through relentless support, unconditional love, and absolute respect. Youth find more than just a safe place to sleep at Covenant House: here, they can access job training, education programs, mental and physical health care, and legal aid to help them build a stable future.

In New Orleans, nearly 200 young people and their minor children call Covenant House home each night. Covenant House New Orleans is located on the edge of the French Quarter right next to Armstrong Park. In September 2022, we added a new Maternal Pathways Home in the Treme Community as a resource for first time pregnant parents facing homelessness.
