About Us

Covenant House Georgia

Covenant House Georgia (CHGA) provides housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness and trafficking. We help young people find hope by strengthening their resilience through relentless support, unconditional love, and absolute respect.

Our persistent goal is to provide youth with a safe place off the streets and comprehensive support to discover pathways that will end their homelessness for good. When young people come to our doors, our first step is to secure their basic needs in our Drop-In Center and Crisis Shelter so that we can then triage their long-term needs and begin developing a plan to advance their independence. We help young people progress into independence through comprehensive case management support, physical and mental health and wellness programs, educational and workforce development services, life skills classes, and independent living programs. Through these, we help youth heal from their past traumas, realize their own potential, and lay the foundation for their ongoing stability.

In Georgia, Covenant House is located in Atlanta where over 100 young people rest their heads each night and even more receive help from our outreach and drop-in services. CHGA is the only agency in Atlanta providing shelter and supportive services specific to young people ages 16 to 24 who are facing homelessness and trafficking.
