Our Corporate Partners are Change-Makers

Sleep Out sponsors and corporate teams are change-makers in their communities and the movement to end youth homelessness. Sleep Out is a unique opportunity for co-workers to engage with each other in a purposeful way, forging new and deep connections.

Companies participate as a team, fostering camaraderie and engaging in friendly competition on the fundraising leaderboard, and the Sleep Out experience prompts thoughtful conversation beyond the water cooler (employees can invite family and friends to join) that contributes to a culture of care — all without leaving your home or gathering in an office.

Sponsoring the Sleep Out includes national marketing, public relations, and brand awareness opportunities, and sponsors are essential in ensuring that Covenant House can continue sheltering the growing number of youth facing homelessness.

2020 National Presenting Sponsor: Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines is proud to be a long-time partner of Covenant House, making a deep impact in the lives of children and youth facing homelessness and human trafficking.

Each year, dozens of Delta Air Line employees Sleep Out in cities across the country. In 2019, the airline hosted a Sleep Out at its Atlanta headquarters. A handful of New York-based employees who couldn’t make it to Atlanta even held their own Sleep Out at JFK International Airport.

In addition to sponsoring the Sleep Out movement, Delta Air Lines created a Career Readiness program for Covenant House youth in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and New York. Led completely by Delta Air Lines employees, the program equips youth overcoming homelessness with the tools and skills they need for a successful career at Delta and elsewhere.

2020 Top National Team: Cisco

Cisco employees have been a force for good in the Sleep Out movement since 2014, raising more than $6 million to support youth overcoming homelessness over the past seven years.

Team Cisco is a true grassroots effort, made up of nearly 700 employees in 20+ cities around the world. Cisco's enthusiasm is contagious, inspiring other companies to form their own teams and even hosting a Sleep Out at their headquarters in San Jose, California.

In 2020, as the world faced a global pandemic, Team Cisco doubled down on their commitment to end youth homelessness and recruited their largest Sleep Out team to-date, leading international participation with employees giving up their beds for the night in 20 different countries.

In fact, it was Cisco who leapt into action as the world went into lockdown. Covenant House's first virtual Sleep Out went live using Cisco's Webex technology, and we continued to rely on their software and expertise to bring people together for intimate conversations in interactive breakout sessions.

Beyond the Sleep Out, Cisco employees have worked with front-line staff at Covenant House to ensure that our shelters are equipped with the technology and resources that young people need to be successful in a virtual world.

2020 Banking Industry Challenge Winner: Barclays

In November 2020, our dedicated partners in the finance industry came together to support young people at Covenant House in their greatest time of need. The Finance Industry Challenge brought a friendly competition to our annual Sleep Out, with firms facing off to raise urgently-needed funds to shelter and care for youth overcoming homelessness.

The competition was fierce, but in the end, it was the Barclay's team who emerged victorious, raising more than $70,000. Barclay's teams have been participating in Sleep Out since the beginning, and we are truly grateful for their dedication to our young people.

Congratulations and thank you to Team Barclay's, winner of the Finance Industry Challenge!
